Property Maintenance New Ross

My name is Tommy Kinsella. I’m a native of New Ross, County Wexford.  I’m an avid sports fan but my preferred sports are hurling and football.

I’m a life long member of Geraldine O’Hanrahan’s GAA club in New Ross.  I am also the current coaching officer for the club.
I have worked in construction since 1990 when I started my carpentry training in FÁS in New Ross.  Then I completed a two year placement in Delaney’s joinery, Irishtown, New Ross and later placement in Ryan’s joinery, Mary St, New Ross.  Since I completed training I have worked for many distinguished construction companies in the southeast.  Namely, D.F.L Waterford and Milltown Engineering (civil division) Carlow in which I did General carpentry and was a finishing foreman work . While doing finishing foreman work I gained a great knowledge of the other trades, namely plumbing, painting and decorating. At this time also I took night classes in interior design and minor plumbing in which I received the award qualifications for both. This is why I decided to set up my own property maintenance company to combine my knowledge of all these trades.  During the downturn in our economy I decided to retrain so I took on a two year course in FETAC level 5 child care.  This was a very worth while undertaking for me as a parent of three daughters and a youth GAA coach.
I also did internships with Leinster GAA in which I was coaching officer for New Ross district.  Working closely with schools and clubs in the district to promote our Gaelic games. Also I have worked for Wexford GAA as a primary schools coach.
During this time I totally enjoyed working with the public as I’m a real people person.
